How does Screenshot to Calendar work?
Install and pin the Chrome extension, capture any invite screenshot, and we autofill the title, attendees, and times. You can review the parsed details on the dashboard before sending them to your calendar.
Do I need both the extension and the dashboard?
Yes. The dashboard is where you authenticate Google or Microsoft 365, manage billing, and review your event history. The extension is the quickest way to capture a screenshot and push it into that workspace.
Which calendars can I sync?
Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 are supported today. We are prototyping CalDAV and iCloud support. Submit our contact form if you want early access to upcoming integrations.
How accurate is the detection?
We combine OCR with a lightweight language model fine tuned on hundreds of invite templates. Start and end times, locations, and meeting links are highlighted so you can make quick edits before saving.
Does the extension store my screenshots?
No. Screenshots are streamed over TLS straight to our Supabase edge function, held only in memory while the assistant parses them, and then discarded. We only persist the structured metadata that powers your event history for 30 days so you can review or delete it sooner.
How is my data secured?
All metadata is encrypted at rest, screenshots never touch long term storage, and access to production systems requires hardware keys plus audit logging. We also run weekly dependency scans and a quarterly penetration review.
How do I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my plan?
Review plan limits on the Pricing page, then open the Subscription page and choose "Open billing portal". Stripe handles plan changes, proration, and cancellations instantly so you never have to email support.
Where can I see system status or incidents?
Visit status.screentocal.com for real time uptime metrics and historical incident reports. Subscribe there for webhook or email updates.
